Treatment: immediate decontamination, IV fluids 48 hrs. Even pollen is deadly to cats.
Symptoms: hind leg weakness, vomiting, tremors, hyperthermia
Treatment: induce vomiting, supportive care. Most recover in 24-48 hrs.
Symptoms: drowsiness, wobbly gait, dilated pupils, vomiting
Treatment: supportive care, dark room. Most recover in 24 hrs.
Symptoms: vomiting, tremors, seizures, hyperthermia
Treatment: induce vomiting, activated charcoal, muscle relaxants.
Symptoms: weakness, pale gums, red urine, anemia
Treatment: induce vomiting if recent, monitor anemia, blood transfusion if severe. All forms toxic.
Symptoms: bleeding, bruising, pale gums, blood in stool
Treatment: Vitamin K1 therapy for weeks-months, blood transfusions.
Symptoms: vomiting, drooling, weakness, paralysis, coma
Treatment: induce vomiting, activated charcoal, cardiac monitoring.
Symptoms: vomiting, bloody stool, jaundice, liver failure
Treatment: induce vomiting, activated charcoal, liver support. Poor prognosis once symptomatic.
Symptoms: hyperactivity, drooling, vomiting, weakness, seizures
Treatment: induce vomiting, activated charcoal, hospitalization.
Symptoms: vomiting, drooling, diarrhea
Treatment: induce vomiting if bulbs chewed. Most toxin in bulbs.
Symptoms: vomiting, weakness, staggering, seizures, liver failure
Treatment: induce vomiting, IV glucose, hospitalization. Found in gum, candy, peanut butter.
